What is who wrote chantilly lace?

Chantilly Lace is a song written and recorded by American rock and roll musician Jerry Lee Lewis in 1958. However, it was also famously performed by the Big Bopper, who had a chart-topping hit with the song in the same year. The Big Bopper, whose real name was Jiles Perry "J. P." Richardson Jr., was an American musician, songwriter, and disc jockey who played an important role in the early days of rock and roll. He died tragically in a plane crash in 1959, along with Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, in an event that would become known as "The Day the Music Died".
